Followers of self proclaimed Prophet, David Owuor, poured on the streets of Nakuru armed with brooms to clean up the roads in preparation of the prophet’s arrival Friday for a three-day prayer meeting.
While singing and dancing on the streets, the enthusiastic followers took the better part of Wednesday to clean the streets and collect garbage in the town saying it was a sign of holiness.

The followers hired water boozers, purchased washing detergents and brooms and cleaned the streets in preparation of the man of clothes arrival.

On his part, Nakuru Town West Deputy County Commissioner, Elmi Shaffi, cautioned the participants to be alert of criminals who might disguise themselves as followers only to rob them of valuables.
He further called upon all Kenyans to respect different religions saying that Kenya is a free state with freedom of worship.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, Archbishop Dr. Paul Onjoro of Repentance and Holiness Ministry, over 1,200 police officers will provide security with seven million followers expected to attend the prayers.
Onjoro, who is also the national overseer of the movement, added that the meeting will be a special one as over 18,000 local and 400 foreign preachers from diverse denominations are set to grace the prayers.

The prayer rally will be held at the Menengai Grounds from Friday through Sunday.
